Teri Hatcher creating something 'extravagant' this Christmas

Teri Hatcher recently revealed her Christmas plans for this year.

In an interview with PEOPLE, the 59-year-old actress admitted her love for creating "extravagant" gingerbread structures.

According to her, it has become one of her festive traditions over recent years.

“I'm definitely that person who's in my kitchen, baking and baking, baking and baking,” Teri said, adding, “Having Christmas movies basically on 24/7 in the background.”

The Desperate Housewives alum also shared that she leans on her 2-year-old daughter Emerson to help to turn her ideas into reality.

“She (Emerson) certainly learned a lot from me about cooking and she loves to cook herself,” the mother-of-one said, adding, “But in terms of baking, the gingerbread thing is always a pretty big deal.”

Her interview comes almost a month after the How to Fall in Love by Christmas star opened up about her travels this past summer.

While speaking to the same publication in November, the actress said, “Most recently this summer, I was in Europe and traveling.”

Before concluding, the actress also got into the Desperate Housewives connection, saying how the series “has a lot of French fans because they continue to play that show there”.
