Kaley Cuoco shares behind-the-scenes from birthday morning with Tom Pelphrey

Kaley Cuoco woke up to the sweetest surprise on her 39th birthday.

The Big Bang Theory actress took to Instagram with a glimpse of the surprise her fiancé Tom Pelphrey threw her.

The post featured a clip of the couple's 20-month daughter Matilda walking around their living room while holding a balloon.

The lounge was filled with dozens of balloons, a red plush cat with a unicorn horn, a pair of birthday cards, and some wrapped presents.

"Sweetest east coast bday wakeup courtesy of @tommypelphrey," the actress wrote. "Tildy thought it was all for her lol."

Cuoco and Pelphrey announced their engagement in August after welcoming Matilda in March 2023.

The Flight Attendant alum opened up about her experience as a first-time mom last month during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she jokingly compared looking after her daughter to "taking care of your drunk best friend every day."

“All day, literally all day. They’re crying when they don’t get what they want, you’re making sure they make it to the bathroom or you’re cleaning their throw up from whatever," she continued.

"They’re out of their minds and you’re making sure they don’t die all day long. And then they black out and you’re like ready to die and they wake up and they’re like, ‘What’s for breakfast?’ ”

Cuoco and Pelphrey were originally set up by their manager, Andrea Pett-Joseph, and met at the premiere of Ozark in April 2022.
