Prince William has been going through a challenging time balancing his family responsibilities while navigating his Royal role, according to an expert.
Ever since his wife, Kate Middleton, was diagnosed of cancer, the Prince of Wales have been trying hard to focus on taking care of her while also not ignoring his duties.
Speaking with The Mirror, royal author Andrew Morton praised William's "maturity, common sense, and empathy" in undertaking numerous official engagements despite his personal struggles.
He even claimed that the late Queen Elizabeth II would be proud of her grandson for stepping in for King Charles at several high-profile events throughout the year.
"I don't envy his role at the moment – he's got a lot on his plate,” he said. "But William is handling it as well as you can do when you've got a wife who has been seriously ill and three children who need support and comfort.”
The expert added, "For anyone dealing with a long-term illness, especially in that kind of position, it's very difficult."
He went on to add how the late Queen would be so proud of her grandson had she been alive today, seeing him juggle his work and personal responsibilities.
"The Queen always used to say you've got to be seen to be believed, and that's as true today as it was 50 years ago. So the show has to go on,” she added.
Sharing Queen’s advice to William, the expert said she told him to "keep calm and carry on,” as he continues to be "father, nurse, and Prince of Wales."
"He used to see her every weekend when he was a pupil at Eton. They used to chat about his future duties, and she prepared him in a very careful way.
“William owes the Queen an awful lot, as do they all."
