'Who's the Boss?' star Danny Pintauro undergoes emergency surgery after scooter accident

Danny Pintauro has shared health updates with fans.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Pintauro revealed he had undergone emergency surgery after getting into a scooter accident.

In the video shared the Who's the Boss? actor included several photos of himself bruised on hospital bed and a note.

“I thought I would share an update with all of you. On Thanksgiving night I got into a scooter accident. The bike lane I was riding in was suddenly blocked with cones and I was forced to choose between a van and a pylon. The pylons hurt!! Have a terrible scrape on my Arm and I was pretty convinced I had broken my arm. The next morning it was a whole lot better so l didn't worry as much,” Pintauro stated.

He further added that two days later he “started having these weird chest pains... the pain was so significant all across my chest and my stomach muscles and my shoulder muscles that I could barely breath. It was the [worst] moment of my life.”

However, following the surgery Pintauro revealed that “the pain is pretty much gone away.”

“They always say this but it's very true, if I had waited any longer, I could have died. My body was the one who told me something was absolutely wrong,” the Cujo actor added.
