The death case of Liam Payne, who died last month in Argentina, recently received a heartbreaking update.
The One Direction star died at the age of 31 on October 16, 2024 after falling off from the third floor of his hotel suite in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Now as per Mirror, the appeal in singer’s death case will take place today, December 2, by Argentinian prosecutors.
Following the late singer’s death, three suspects were arrested, however prosecutors claim there is an "impasse" preventing the trio from being quizzed, which they are trying to unlock.
As per the publication, public prosecutor named Andres Madrea will argue Laura Bruniard can continue her probe into the suspects, which is said to be slowing the ongoing criminal probe’s progress.
It was not clear this morning, December 2, when a decision on who has jurisdiction to continue the investigation will be made.
The decision on whether it is widened to include more suspects is not expected to be taken until after the appeal ruling.
The news comes two days after Argentinian news website, Infobae, reported that Liam’s £30,000 Rolex watch had disappeared around the time one of two escorts he allegedly spent time with before his death.
Currently, two women are currently being treated as witnesses but are said to have hired a lawyer to represent them despite not having to do so.
