Kate Hudson kicks off holiday magic with heartwarming family moment

Kate Hudson, an acclaimed actress and singer, is gearing up for her "favourite time of year" with her daughter Rani.

On Sunday, December 1, the 45-year-old star of both the music and acting worlds started the holiday by buying a Christmas tree with her 6-year-old daughter.

Taking to her Instagram, the Raising Helen actress shared how she embraced the festive season, sparking excitement as she posted a reel of their family outing.

The video showed Hudson, Rani, and Rani’s father, who is her fiancé named Danny Fujikawa, purchasing a Christmas tree, along with decorative wooden reindeer and snowmen.

Notably, the clip was set to the holiday song Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, which was sung by Hudson herself.

The Touch the Light crooner also penned a caption with snowman and snowflake emojis that read, “And so it begins!!! My favourite time of year.”

Moreover, in the clip, Hudson can be seen dressed up warmly for the cold weather in a navy blue trench coat, a furry hat, and chunky boots.

On the other hand, Fujikawa wore a leather jacket and a furry hat, while Rani had on a multicoloured, leopard-print fleece and jeans.

For the unversed, Hudson started dating Danny Fujikawa, an actor, musician, and co-owner of a record company, in December 2016.

It is significant to mention that after two years of dating, the couple was blessed with a daughter, Rani, in October 2018 and got engaged in September 2021.

However, the lovebirds have not tied the knot yet.
