Gregg Wallace just issued an apology!

The TV personality and presenter has publicly expressed his regrets over his inappropriate behaviour towards "middle-class women of a certain age" on MasterChef.

After the 60-year-old celebrity stepped back from hosting the popular cooking show amid allegations of s**ual misconduct and misbehaviour, he took to his official Instagram account to take a stand for himself against “13 complainants.”

In ap previously uploaded video, as Wallace mentioned his two-decade long work on MasterChef with “over 4,000 contestants,” he stated that "the complaints coming from a handful of middle-class women of a certain age just from Celebrity MasterChef" and has now apologized for any offence caused, revealing that he would be "taking some time out.”

"I want to apologize for any offence that I caused with my post yesterday and any upset I may have caused to a lot of people. I wasn't in a good head space when I posted it. I've been under a huge amount of stress, a lot of emotion, I felt very alone, under siege, yesterday, when I posted it,” the entrepreneur mentioned.

He continued, "It's obvious to me I need to take some time out now while this investigation is underway. I hope you understand, and I do hope you accept this apology."

For the unversed, Gregg Wallace has to step down form his hosting role on MasterChef as BBC investigation revealed that 13 different people had accused him of misbehaviour and misconduct during the filming of the series.
