Mariah Carey, a celebrated singer-songwriter and record producer, has just shared a heartwarming Christmas tradition with her daughter Monroe.

Carey, who is considered the "Queen of Christmas," opened up about her favourite holiday tradition as she teams up with SiriusXM this month.

The 55-year-old star revealed by saying, "I like to cook during the holidays. I make linguini with white clam sauce—my father's favourite recipe. I make it every year, and sometimes my daughter Monroe helps me make it."

Informing about her “delicious” tradition, the Touch My Body singer added, "It's something I love doing."

Carey also shared some details about her plans for 2025, articulating that she is working on new music, although she does not want to "talk about it much."

Moving forward, she also quipped, "There are things that have to do with my book and my scripted series. So many things, but I don't want to go into it too far, because then everyone's gonna say, 'Why did you tell us this, and it didn't happen?'"

"So, let's hope this is enough," Carey concludes.

Notably, in 2020, Carey published her memoir titled The Meaning of Mariah, which became a New York Times bestseller.

However, a scripted series about her life has been in the works for six years, according to Deadline.

It is significant to mention that the When You Believe hitmaker is involved in a festive project for the holidays, as she will take over SiriusXM's Holly station with Mariah Mondays on December 2, 9, 16, and 23 from 6 a.m. to midnight.
