Prince Andrew’s secret benefactor has seemingly been unveiled by a source.

The Duke of York, who is adamant on affording his 30 bed-room mansion in Windsor, is secretly being helped by his elder brother and the King, Charles.

A source tells Mail Online: "He [Andrew] just doesn't have that many friends any more. He barely goes out, he's not that welcome anywhere. So it's got to be family, and the obvious person is the King. I mean, why would anybody who's not family want to give him money when they're not going to get anything out of it except a lot of flack?"

"Charles has paid for it all. The King has cleared it. It's all done.

Amid conjecture about Andrew’s finances, Royal expert Matt Wilkinson tells The Sun: “This saga has been going on for a long time but one of the main issues is him at the Royal Lodge.

“We now know that Prince Andrew’s money has been taken away, his Annual Allowance by the King, he has removed it.

“We don’t know where this money’s come from. Do you think we should know how Andrew has secured money to remain in the Royal Lodge?” he asked.
