Camila Cabello highlighted the "conflict resolution" lessons she learned during the Fifth Harmony days.
In a recent chat with Nylon, the 27-year-old singer shared some rare insights about her journey with Fifth Harmony, since the first day of its formation in 2012 to her exit in December 2016 with her bandgirls Normani, Dinah Jane, Ally Brooke, and Lauren Jauregui.
Cabello recalled her struggles, expressing uncertainty about whether she faced more challenges than an average teenager would under the pressures of the spotlight.
"It’s hard to say what’s normal, whether you’re famous or not," she acknowledged. "My barometer wasn’t functional. It was more than a person should bear [in that situation]."
The I Luv It singer talked about how important it is to learn problem-solving skills as a teenager.
Camila went on to say, "I think conflict resolution is really important, especially when it comes to a group. Those are skills you don’t have when you’re 16 years old."
"How do you deal with being left out? How do you deal with jealousy? How do you deal with these things without hurting yourself or other people?" she noted.
It is pertinent to mention that Fifth Harmony, the band which was established during the second season of the X Factor, produced hits like Worth It, Work From Home, and many more.
