Josh Allen reflects on engagement with Hailee Steinfeld

Josh Allen is opening up about his new beginnings with Hailee Steinfeld.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback, 28, was asked during a recent post-game press conference about how he felt during the game after Steinfeld, 27, said yes to him.

"Felt good. Felt free," the NFL star replied. The response came after his team put up a huge win over the San Francisco 49ers, 35-10.

Allen was also reportedly "all smiles" when an NBC reporter Melissa Stark brought up his engagement in a conversation later during the Sunday Night Football telecast.

Allen was then asked if Steinfeld was genuinely surprised by the Malibu proposal, to which he said “very,” adding the actress did not see him getting down on one knee.

The couple hasn't "set anything yet but still figuring out" their wedding plans, the correspondent quoted Allen.

The couple announced their engagement on Friday via joint Instagram posts after Allen proposed to the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse star on November 22.
