The WCVB Channel 5 featured footage of the city’s holiday festivities, which included a brief appearance of the Emmy-winning actress walking along Newbury Street with her mother, Claire Stoermer.

According to Daily Mail, the station was unaware of their accidental celebrity feature until a TikTok user, @clomance, identified Zendaya in the clip.

In regards to this, the user quipped, “Channel 5 shooting b-roll and not clocking they got Zendaya,” while sparking a social media frenzy.

Meanwhile, fans expressed shock with one of the users commenting, “was yelling at the TV!”

Additionally, the station acknowledged the oversight and replayed the clip with the subtitle “star-studded stroll.”

As per the publication, Zendaya is currently filming The Drama with Robert Pattinson.
