Jennifer Lopez has recently questioned her own parenting skills, and whether that is she is “enough” for her children.
During the interview with Entertainment Weekly, Lopez candidly shared the hard time as a single of her twins 16-year-old Max and Emme.
“I’ve been a single mom at times in my life,” she admitted.
For those unversed she shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, and said.“[I’ve asked,] ‘Am I enough for them?"
Following to this, J.Lo responded, “And the truth is, all you need is really one good parent to love you.”
The Hollywood star reflected upon her movie Unstoppable, which is based on a true story of a single mother who was supporting her congenital amputee son, Anthony Robles, to achieve his dream and become a wrestler.
“You hear it in Anthony’s voice, and look what he’s been able to accomplish,” the On The Floor singer added. “That’s what the movie gave me: You are enough.”
“It says a lot about the character of someone, when people are good and loving and supportive of each other, what they can accomplish.”
“Everything that we went through together, individually, I wouldn’t change it as hard as it was, as painful as it was, as many times as I cried."
"And just wondered, why am I the one going through this again week after week, year after year,” Lopez recalled her own struggle as a single mother and told the outlet.
“Going through that was worth it to get to where we are because instead of folding under the pressure and giving up, he and I continued to fight through it,” the songstress concluded by saying.
