Prince Harry reacts as Meghan Markle grows ‘jealous' of his popularity

Prince Harry has been consoling Meghan Markle ever since reports claimed that the Duchess of Sussex is finding it hard to digest his growing popularity.

According to Closer Magazine, Meghan feels frustrated and left behind when she see Harry claiming spotlight while she is always the target of trolling and criticism.

Most recently, the Duke of Sussex’s popularity got a boost after he did a hilarious skit with country singer Jelly Roll to promote the Invictus Games.

While Meghan wanted to cheer for her husband's success, she is feeling stung by the double standard of people that allows Harry to receive praise for doing things that would be criticized if she did them.

“This whole thing with Jelly Roll, and all the positive press it got him, was a big coup for Harry,” the insider said. “But it’s safe to say that Meghan would not have gotten rave reviews if she’d gone and gotten a fake tattoo on her neck, so the double standard is glaring.”

“That’s not to say she isn’t pleased for Harry – the Invictus Games are so precious to him, so she’d never begrudge anything that boosts attention for the games,” they added. “But that doesn’t make it easy to have a partner that can get kudos for doing things she can’t.”

As for Prince Harry, he has been telling Meghan Markle "not to worry, and saying she just ought to ignore the haters," the insider said, adding, "But that’s easier said than done. This really stings.”
