Ariana Grande, the star of the recently released movie Wicked, has shared why she would never return to The Voice as a judge.
Illuminating the Las Culturistas podcast with his appearance, Grande revealed the reason behind her decision to not become a part of The Voice again, saying, “'I got so emotionally attached to everyone. That's my problem. I can't really do that because I really get in.”
The Zoolander star added, “I really get in there with everyone. I love everyone so much. I love meeting people, and I've felt so invested.”
Notably, Grande became so close to the contestants on her season of The Voice that she even invited her team members, including Jim Allen, Sasha Allen, and Holly Forbes, to her family’s Thanksgiving dinner in 2021.
At the time, Forbes told People magazine by saying, “The most unexpected thing about Ariana is just how big her heart is.”
He remarked, “You know, she's always checking on us. We got the chance to meet some of her close family members and friends, and she's so loving to everyone.”
“People might have opinions on her, and I didn't know how she'd be as a person at first, but she's just incredible. It was unexpected to meet someone of her celebrity status who is so real and kind,” Forbes concluded by speaking highly of the Swindle star.
In addition, singer Raquel Trinidad said she was “pleasantly surprised about how ridiculously friendly Ariana is. To the point where we get texts from her.”
It is pertinent to mention that Grande served as a judge and mentor on The Voice along with Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, and John Legend in 2021.
