Kieran Culkin hasn’t made Home Alone a part of his family holidays yet.

Kieran played his brother Macaulay Culkin’s cousin in the iconic Home Alone movies.

However, the Succession star and his wife Jazz Charton haven’t shown the movies to their kids, daughter Kinsey, 5, and son Wilder, 3.

“There’s still some scary parts,” Kieran told E! News. “For the 3-year-old, there’s the tarantula [and] there’s the guy at the end who said, ‘I’m gonna bite off all your fingers.’ That’s scary for a 3-year-old.”

“We think they might be ready for Home Alone this year. If not, next year,” he added.

The Emmy winner’s older brother Macaulay’s star rose after he played Kevin McCallister in 1990’s Home Alone and 1992’s Home Alone 2: Lost In New York.

However, Macaulay himself has shown the movie to his and longtime partner Brenda Song’s eldest son, Dakota, 3.

“I already showed it to him last year, he thinks it’s so funny,” Macaulay shared with Entertainment Tonight in December 2023. “I convinced my oldest that he’s the kid in the movie. I said, ‘Remember you had yellow hair? Remember when you were getting the bad guys?’ He’s like, ‘Yeah!’ He is such a liar. I’m like, ‘You don’t remember any of that.'”

Kieran Culkin previously shared how sorry he felt for his brother Macaulay Culkin after he shot to fame at such a young age.
