Queen Camilla is reportedly struggling with a deeper illness amid her constant chest congestion.

It is revealed by Her Majesty that she has been diagnosed with ‘some type of pneumonia’ and a Royal source has now revealed that the illness is making her lethargic.

A royal source said: "Some days the Queen is on really good form. It's just one of those things.

"She has lost the coughing but the lingering side of it is bouts of extreme tiredness.

"There has to be a degree of flex in the Queen's diary at the moment,” she noted.

This comes days after Queen Camilla missed major Remembrance Day events

Her Majesty, who currently has a throat infection, failed to attend the ceremony with King Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Speaking about her condition, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told OK!: "This is such a shame, as to see all the senior royals back on parade together would have been heartening.

"Chest infections can be quite nasty as you grow older and it’s important that the queen follows her doctor’s advice and rests. But there are other factors at play here as well: she wouldn’t want to risk passing the infection onto Catherineor anybody else."
