Queen Camilla makes startling revelations about her health scare

Queen Camilla, who cancelled several events due to her illness, has made startling revelations as she attended a reception for the state visit of Qatar´s emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.

The AFP, citing British media, has reported that a bout of pneumonia led Queen Camilla, the wife of King Charles III, to cancel several events.

Camilla made these revelations as she told guests about her illness at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.

She made the comments at a reception for the state visit of Qatar´s emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.

Earlier, Camilla had missed last month´s Remembrance Day commemoration events due to the chest infection.

She returned to duties on November 12, but has opted to skip the outdoor activities planned for the two-day Qatari state visit began on Tuesday as she is suffering from post-infection fatigue.

"She has lost the coughing but the lingering side of it is bouts of extreme tiredness," a royal source told the domestic Press Association.

It is the latest health scare for the family.
