Prince Harry is reportedly regretting moving away from the Royal family to the US with his beloved wife, Meghan Markle.
According to reports, the Duke of Sussex fears that his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are missing out on a normal childhood.
Since relocating to Montecito in 2020, the children have been rarely seen in public, with some online commenters dubbing his little girl Lilibet as 'Invisi-bet'.
Speaking with New Idea Magazine, Harry has been reevaluating his family's situation and is concerned that his children's world is even more sheltered than his own upbringing as a royal heir.
“Meghan sold their move to America as a way for their family to be happy, free, and relatively ‘normal’,” the insider said. “But that doesn’t seem to be the case for them and their kids at all.”
“It’s almost as if they, as a family, are living like Rapunzel in her tower,” they added. “Even the locals in Montecito are puzzled. Archie and Lili are rarely seen with Meghan or Harry at local events, like out trick-or-treating at Halloween, for example.”
They continued: “The biggest shock for Harry is that he thought raising his kids away from the Royal Family would give them more freedom.
“In California, though, the opposite has happened. In fact, Archie and Lilibet’s world seems even more cossetted than his own upbringing as an heir to the British Crown.”
