Flavor Flav has cleared the air regarding his stance on Chappell Roan.

It all started when the 65-year-old rapper in an interview with TMZ's 'Merry Elfin' Christmas, took dig at Roan.

Flav said that Roan made a big "mistake" by calling out fans for "harassing" her and her family.

According to him, "celebrities should be grateful for people wanting to meet them".

However, after facing immense backlash on social media, the Fight the Power hitmaker has now changed his view after hearing the 26-year-old pop star’s whole story.

Flav in a tweet, wrote, “I was asked about Chappell Roan and was told that she was rude to fans.”

He continued, “I don’t really know her or the situation and said that it’s a mistake because it’s the fans that make us who we are.

“BUT,,, if individuals are threatening her privacy or boundaries,,, good for her to speak up,!! (sic).”

Earlier in August, Roan called out the predatory behaviour of fans on Instagram and explained that she needs to "set boundaries" regarding her interactions with them.

The Good Luck, Babe! singer, whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz wrote, “I want to love my life, be outside, giggle with my friends, go to the movie theater, feel safe, and do all the things every single person deserves to do.”

“Please stop touching me. Please stop being weird to my family and friends. Please stop assuming things about me. There is always more to the story. l am scared and tired,” she wrote.
