Axl Rose's case in which he was accused of sexual assault last year, has taken a surprising turn.
Editors at Rolling Stone reported that the Guns N' Roses frontman has reached a private settlement over an assault lawsuit filed by former actress-model Sheila Kennedy.
In a statement issued to the publication, the duo had reached a private settlement over the case, however, terms of the agreement were kept under wrap.
Moreover, the Sweet Child O' Mine singer, whose real name in real name William Rose Jr., maintained his innocence in the matter.
“As I have from the beginning, I deny the allegations. There was no assault,” said the 62-year-old singer in a statement.
His lawyer E. Danya Perry, while supporting the singer’s remarks, stressed, “Mr. Rose has suffered greatly from this lawsuit, and I am pleased that he will now be able to move on with his life.”
Meanwhile, the 62-year-old actress has yet to comment on the settlement.
Kennedy first directed her allegations against the singer back in 2016 in her memoir No One's Pet in which she alleged he attacked and raped her in a Manhattan hotel room in 1989.
She then repeated them once again in a 2021's documentary tiled Look Away.
Fast-forward in November 2023, the former actress-model filed a lawsuit against the singer.
