Prince William’s ability to keep calm during times of crises has come forward.
According to OK! the conversation began when royal author Andrew Morton lauded the future King of England for his ability to ‘keep calm’ and ‘carry on’ while King Charles, Queen Camilla and his wife Kate Middleton battle health woes.
“I don't envy his role at the moment — he's got a lot on his plate,” he started by saying.
But “William is handling it as well as you can do when you've got a wife who has been seriously ill and three children who need support and comfort,” Mr Morton admitted.
All in all, “For anyone dealing with a long-term illness, especially in that kind of position, it's very difficult.”
The same expert also hailed Prince William’s decision to get on with public engagements by himself while both Kate and King Charles were on medical leave.
For those unversed, right now Kate’s cancer is in remission but King Charles is still undergoing chemotherapy for his undisclosed type of cancer.
Near the end of the chat, a nod for Prince William’s calm under crisis was given to the late Queen Elizabeth who would meet the future king every weekend during his Eton days to “chat about his future duties, and she prepared him in a very careful way. William owes the Queen an awful lot, as do they all.”
Per Mr Morton, “She was very mindful of the fact that these young couples shouldn't have to harness themselves to doing endless royal duties.”
