Bombings in Baghdad, other Iraqi cities kill 4
BAGHDAD: Police officials say bombs in three Iraqi cities have killed two soldiers, a policeman and a pro-government Sunni fighter.

Police say a roadside bomb targeting an army vehicle in the Baghdad neighborhood of Abu Ghraib on Monday killed two soldiers and wounded another eight.

Another roadside bomb exploded near a police car in Mosul, killing a policeman in the city, 360 kilometers (225 miles) northwest of Baghdad.

A third explosion occurred in the northern city of Kirkuk, about 290 kilometers (180 miles) from Baghdad.

Police say a car bomb there killed a fighter with the pro-government group known as the Sahwa, which has fought against al-Qaida. Heath officials confirmed the death tolls.
