One Direction’s five original bandmates are said to have had planned a reunion before Liam Payne’s tragic death.
A source told Page Six that all the bandmates before Liam’s tragic death, had been in talks for a final reunion show for their fans.
However, the 31-year-old singer’s “death changed everything”.
The source dished out that a reunion with all five members might now be impossible.
They further noted that the group still wishes to honour Liam with a tribute concert.
Formed in 2010, One Direction consisted of five members such as Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson.
However, after Zayn left the band in 2015, the other group members later also parted ways.
The four remaining members came together, for the first time, after so many year since the band's split for Liam’s private funeral which was held in November in England.
Liam died on October 16, after falling from a hotel balcony in the capital, Buenos Aires.
His body was released to his family to be flown back to the UK on November 6.
Moreover, an autopsy revealed that the late sustained several injuries involving internal and external hemorrhages. He also had various drugs in his system including “pink cocaine”.
