Sarah Ferguson, the former wife of Prince Andrew, has expressed her interest in appearing in the hit Netflix show Bridgerton.
According to the British media, the Duchess of York revealed this during a TV appearance.
A report said she would be following in the footsteps of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle who also appeared in a Netflix documentary two years ago.
While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex chose to target some royal family members in their documentary, it is still not clear what Sarah Ferguson wants to achieve with her appearance in the widely popular show.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, she said "I am game on for Bridgerton. I have told Shonda Rhimes. I said, 'Shonda, I am coming in'," referring to Shonda Rhimes, who helped create the period drama.
Sarah has two daughters with former husband Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles.
Her daughters have shared a good relationship with Meghan and Harry even after their departure from the royal fold.
In the run up to Harry and Meghan's Netflix documentary, multiple media reports claimed that the royal family was not happy with their decision to work with the streaming giant.
Her talk about the Netflix show is also likely to raise some eyebrows in the royal family.
