Prince William received yet another major blow from Prince Harry after the latter snubbed the Royal family in his latest Netflix documentary.
The Duke of Sussex’s new documentary series about polo excluded the Royal family's long-standing connection to the sport.
Criticising Harry over his latest move, royal experts claimed that the Duke has “erased the Royal family” from the five-part series.
They also noted William, the Prince of Wales’ love for the sport, claiming that by snubbing his brother, Harry has sent out the message that he is detaching himself from his British roots.
In a conversation on GB News, host Andrew Pierce and royal reporter Sarah Louise Robertson also criticized the documentary featuring Harry in a limited capacity, and warned fans that they will be "disappointed" if they expect to see him take a starring role.
"There's a big gap in this because of course, polo is the favourite sport of Prince William and he isn't appearing in the documentary because he's not speaking to his brother,” Pierce said.
He added, "I mean, you can't do a polo documentary, frankly about Prince Harry if you don't include the British Royal Family in it because they've been playing polo for decades."
To this, Robertson added, "There is no mention of them whatsoever. It's almost like Harry's just erased how he got into the game in this.
"That's very interesting, he's focusing solely on playing polo where he is now in the United States, and also when he plays for the charity over in Africa. It's like he's just eliminated that history."
She went on to comment on Harry’s brief appearance in the show, saying, "If Harry fans are expecting to see another Heart of the Invictus or their first Netflix documentary where he's taking a starring role, they will sadly be disappointed."
