Prince William has disclosed his Christmas plans amid reports of snub to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for the festive event.
The future king revealed his Christmas plans as he brought festive cheer and handed out Christmas presents to children and families at a festive party for 1st Battalion Mercian Regiment in Wiltshire.
Prince William was at the Mercian Regiment in Wiltshire in his role as colonel-in-chief.
William was greeted at the entrance by 18-month-old the regimental mascot Private Derby the ram.
Later, the Sun reported Prince William shared that his hopes for the season were very low-key and involved "long walks with the family dog as they spend the festive period in Norfolk."
Prince William revealed he will be having Christmas lunch with 45 family members this year - suggesting we will see a full turn-out at Sandringham.
The Prince revealed that he still had plenty of shopping and prepping to do for the holiday season.
He told a guest, "Am I ready for Christmas? No, no way am I ready."
Prince William’s remarks came amid claims the royal family has not invited Meghan and Harry for Christmas celebrations at Sandringham.
