Daniel Craig has made recent confessions about being jealous of other actors.
In an interview with MailOnline, the 56-year-old admitted that he “still envies other actors when they get jobs he wanted”.
Craig, who will soon star in Queer movie, said, “I get jealous all the time, of every f****** actor who gets a job I'd like, but I admit to it.”
“Someone gave me great advice earlier on – don't get bitter,” the Knives Out actor said, adding, “It'll eat you up.”
In the same interview, the actor, who played James Bond in five films, also revealed that he initially rejected the chance to play James Bond.
While revealing the reason behind it, Craig shared that he was fearful that it could limit other opportunities for him in the movie industry.
The No Time to Die star was asked if he was nervous about accepting the Bond role, to which, he said, “Yes, for sure. That's why I turned it down - I mean, I said, 'No'.”
“There wasn't a script at the time, so again, my arrogance was unbelievable,” the Spectre actor said, adding, “but I was just like, 'Well, until I see a script, I couldn't possibly make a decision.'”
Before concluding, Craig noted, “I was making a pretty good living at the time, so if I spent my life doing what I was doing at the time, I would've been more than happy.”
