Jay Z throws full weight behind unveiling identity of rape accuser

Jay-Z is allegedly trying his best to publicly identify the woman who has accused him and Sean 'Diddy' Combs of raping her in 2000 when she was only 13-years-old.

Attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing the accuser in the case, has written a letter to the Southern District of New York, complaining of Jay Z’s attempts.

Buzbee said the letter was a response to “several recent improper communications directed to the” court by Jay-Z's legal team.

He revealed that his firm “filed a renewed motion for the plaintiff to proceed anonymously.” In response, he claimed, Jay-Z’s team breached professional protocols “rather than merely oppose that motion,.”

He pointed out that the rapper filed 'his own motion to “deny anonymity to his accuser and/or to dismiss under Rule 12(b)(1).”

Buzbee alleged that the filing was “procedurally improper and substantively deficient,” and only meant as “pretext” for two letter briefs, which he considers “'nothing short of defamation hiding behind the thinnest veneer of litigation privilege.”

He further said that the letter briefs do not present enough arguments as to why the plaintiff should be publicly identified, except for “one sentence requesting an expedited hearing.”

He also claimed that he has “actual evidence” that Jay-Z’s legal team engaged in “outright illegal conduct”

Jay-Z was recently named as co-defendant in one of Buzbee's lawsuits against Sean “Diddy” Combs, who’s jailed and awaiting trial under charges of sex-trafficking, racketeering and more.
