Jim Carrey shared that his oldest grandson Jackson loves to knock him in video games.
In a recent chat with Entertainment Tonight at the U.K. premiere of his new film Sonic the Hedgehog 3 held on Tuesday, December 10, the 62-year-old actor gave a cute insight into his bond with 14-year-old grandson
"He loves to beat me at video games," Carrey said jokingly, who stars in the movie adaption of Sonic the Hedgehog and its sequel, adding, "He's cruel."
He tries a sweet bully on Jackson, Carrey said, "When I lose, I threaten that I'm going to get really good someday and kick his butt."
However the teenager knows his comeback, "He tells me, 'You know how you can win against me?' I say 'How?' And he goes, 'You can be born again in a different era.'"
It is pertinent to mention that Jackson is the son of Carrey's daughter Jane Erin Carrey, who is also mom to son Logan and daughter Erin.
This was not the first time Carrey talked about playing video games with his grandson he previously noted on The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2020 that Jackson is schooling him on the Sonic game.
"He's wiping the floor with me in every respect. I get angry, and I put money in the swear jar ... I finally got fed up because he likes to trash talk me too ... he's 9, it's really scary ..."
