Taylor Swift reacts to bestie Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco engagement

Taylor Swift could not keep calm as her best friend Selena Gomez announced her engagement to boyfriend of one year, Benny Blanco.

In a surprising move, the Only Murders in the Building star took to social media to announce her engagement while flaunting her huge diamond.

The Instagram post included a series of photographs featuring Gomez showing off her new piece of jewelry, including a loved-up snap with her boyfriend turned fiancé.

“Forever begins now..” Gomez captioned the post.

Several celebrities rushed to the comment section of her post to pour love on the newly-engagement pop star, including her bestie, Taylor Swift.

“Yes I will be the flower girl,” commented Swift, who recently concluded her Eras Tour show. 

Jennifer Aniston, Cardi B, Nina Dobrev, Gwyneth Paltrow, Lil Nas X and others also wished the singer on starting a new chapter in life.

The 36-year-old music producer also commented on Gomez’s post, "Hey wait… that's my wife."

Gomez started dating Blanco in 2023 almost 8 years after they collaborated on several songs including 2015 Revival songs, Same Old Love and Kill ’Em With Kindness.

The duo kept their love story under wraps in the beginning and only made their relationship Instagram official when Gomez confessed about dating Blanco to her fans.

“He is my absolute everything in my heart,” she said of Blanco on Instagram.
