A royal expert has claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new documentary on Polo could be the end of their deal with streaming giant Netflix.
The five-part documentary about polo could not impress the audiences as critics labelled it "unintentionally hilarious" with many called out Harry over his "bafflingly little” appearance.
Sharing his two cents on the couple’s series, brand expert Nick Ede warned Harry and Meghan that it could be the "nail in the coffin" for the couple's lucrative £80 million deal with Netflix.
"This could potentially be a nail in the coffin for their deal with the streaming giant who now use algorithms to make sure their programming is perfect for their subscribers,” the expert told Daily Mail.
This comes after an insider told Closer Magazine that Harry and Meghan are unfazed by the criticism of the documentary.
However, the insider said they have started to feel like a “big mistake,” adding, “It’s pretty ironic because they’ve always acted so above this sort of thing and now, here they are producing the exact type of content they’ve always looked down on.”
