Drew Barrymore likes to get touchy-feely with her show's guests. This habit, however, has drawn warnings from others.

In her latest interview with Wicked star Cynthia Erivo, she opened up about her notorious interview style, which often received criticism.

"Is it true that she is as touchy? I’m so touchy! People have to warn me. They’re like, ‘Back off a little bit.’ I’m like, ‘Why?’" the host told the actress.

"Yes! We’re always connected," the 37-year-old replied. "I’m the welcoming Capricorn that’s like, ‘I love you. You can touch.’"

Apart from this, Cynthia said she is "sort of used" to being physically affectionate because of her close relationship with her co-star Ariana Grande.

"If it’s not, like, connected, I’m like, ‘What’s wrong? What’s happening? Where are you?’" the Tony winner noted about their relationship.

"We walk hand in hand very often. Like, if we’re not walking hand in hand, we’ll find each other somewhere."

Doubling down on her style, Barry said she values platonic physical interactions with others.

"I'm single. I'm not dating anyone. I don't have that in my life," she said. "But I don't know how I would ever hold back from holding hands, hugging, snuggling…"

Cynthia, while holding hands with her interviewer, said, "I think we get a bit afraid of physical connection."

"I think we assume that physical connection can only be romantic," she concluded.
