Amanda Holden remembers Christmas promise to husband, Chris Hughes

Amanda Holden just made a promise to her husband, Chris Hughes.

Ahead of her Heart Christmas party, the 53-year-old veteran judge for Britain’s Got Talent admitted that she suffered a rather shocking mishap during her first year at the radio station.

Explaining how she would refrain from getting “too battered” this time, Holden to Thursday’s breakfast show with JK, “I remember, I think after our first year – well, my first year at Heart – we went for a Christmas party.”

The German-American actress continued, “We went for drinks, and I fell down the last three steps of the restaurant but landed on my knees and just put the prayer sign up and said to the waiter, ‘Thank you! Thank you so much for a lovely evening!”

“I walked out like nothing had happened. That is how you style it,” Holden further added, as she opened up about the hilarious incident.

To this, JK laughed and stated, “Is that what actually happened?” to which the media personality responded in affirmative that the fall actually did happen, that in result, made her husband, Hughes, ask Holden to promise, not to do that again.

“And this is what I’ve got in store?” JK inquired.

“This is what you’ve got. But I’ve promised my husband, he went, "Don’t get too battered, Mandy.’ I was like, ‘I’ll do my best!’” Amanda Holden replied.
