Nicole Kidman just expressed sentiments over her Golden Globe nomination.
In an interview with Access Hollywood stating how she is “really grateful” for being nominated in the category of Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama, for her role in the erotic film, Babygirl, Kidman stated, “I’m just really grateful that we’re included as a film because we get to go and it brings enormous amount of attention.”
“It’s global the way in which people respond to the Golden Globes. I got texts from all over the world going congratulations so that shows the power of it,” the Paddington star added.
Babygirl, features Kidman portraying the role of CEO Romy, who has a number of explicit scenes with her co-star, Harris Dickinson, however, she didn’t have any opinions over the film, stating she would let the audience decide what they thought of it.
“It’s hard for me because I’m in it. I just love that everyone has different responses to different scenes and that makes it an experience,” she told the outlet.
Additionally, Dickinson spoke about the interpretive dance scene he has in the film, had no choreography decided so that it doesn’t look “forced.”
He said, “The song was already in the script, so I just turned up and did it.”
“You can’t choreograph that moment really. I think it had to be very normal and straight forward. I don’t think you can try and do some elaborate choreographed movement because then it becomes a little bit forced, I don’t know,” Dickinson, who co-starred with Nicole Kidman in the film Babygirl, further mentioned.
