Prince Harry's immigration: Visa issue rears it's head again after Trump's victory

Apparently emboldened by Donald Trump's victory in US election, The Heritage Foundation, a right-wing think tank, has launched a fresh legal challenge involving Prince Harry's stay in the country.

Trump is not known for being a fan of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, although he has admired the late Queen Elizabeth on many occasions. He recently met future king Prince William, Harry's elder brother, in Paris and publicly praised him.

Trump's victory was also not seen as a good omen for Harry and Meghan by the couple's critics in the United Kingdom.

According to a report, the organization, through its legal challenge against the Biden administration, seeks to overturn a judge's earlier decision to terminate their case pertaining to the release of Harry's immigration documents.

The think tank claims there was no proper method for the Duke of Sussex's admission to the US.

The organisation's lawyers wrote in the filing, seen by Newsweek: "[Heritage] submitted there was no proper method by which the Duke of Sussex could have been admitted."

The Heritage Foundation's case revolves around Prince Harry's past drug use disclosures during the US immigration process.

The think tank contends that if the prince was honest about his previous drug use, he should have been denied entry to America.
