Alyson Sandro breaks silence on her split with Barry Keoghan

Before dating the pop star Sabrina Carpenter, Barry Keoghan was in a relationship with Alyson Sandro.

According to People magazine, the Irish actor first met the Scotland native at a local bar in London in 2021, and the former couple dated for about three years.

In August 2022, Alyson and Barry welcomed their first son, Brando, named after actor Marlon Brando. Their baby was born while Barry was filming his dark comedy thriller, Saltburn.

The exes reportedly parted ways in 2023, and Barry has called Alyson "an incredible mother" for the months since.

As per GQ, Alyson and Barry first met at a pub in London in February 2021. The Batman star told the outlet then that Alyson "didn't care" that he was an actor.

The former couple was together from 2021 to 2023. Throughout their relationship, Alyson supported The Killing of a Sacred Deer actor at several events, including the 2023 Academy Awards, where the two shared a sweet smooch on the red carpet.

Revealing the reason behind the pair's separation, an insider told The Sun, "They've grown apart over recent months, and things have finally come to a head.

"His partying caused arguments. Alyson also suspects he has got close to someone else and is adamant there is no going back," the source further said.

The confidant continued, "As far as she’s concerned, it’s over. Barry was on a massive high after the film’s [The Banshees of Inisherin's] success and deservedly so.

"However, his relationship with Alyson has suffered. It's incredibly sad," a tipster told the outlet.

Barry and Alyson welcomed their first child, Brando, in August 2022. Alyson has shared several glimpses of her little one on Instagram.
