Royal family hit with huge setback ahead of Christmas

Royal family faced another shocking incident after a Buckingham Palace maid caused chaos during a Christmas party for the staff.

The 24-year-old woman, thought to be a housemaid, was arrested after a violent outburst at a nearby bar, as reported by The Sun.

According to eyewitnesses, the woman said to have lost control and started throwing glasses and punches after a group of around 50 Palace staff arrived at the All Bar One in Victoria Street for a planned party.

“I’ve never seen one person get that crazy during a night out. She was on another level,” a witness shared the details of the incident with the publication.

The report revealed that the maid was arrested for a night but was later released with a fine.

“The group walked in and this one girl just got hysterical,” a source told the publication. “She started smashing glasses and abusing our staff members, so we had to call the police.”

“I’ve never seen one person get that crazy during a night out. She was on another level,” they added.

Another shared, “It had been a crazy night, we were incredibly busy and we had to deal with so many bookings. We were fully booked and then we had to deal with a party of 50 people on top of that.”

This comes as the members of the Royal family, including King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton are preparing for their annual Christmas bash at Sandringham.

As per reports, this Christmas is extra special for the Royals as it is coming after a “brutal” year for the family, marred by King Charles and the Princess of Wales’ respective cancer diagnosis.
