Cynthia Erivo makes stunning red carpet appearance amid ‘Wicked' success

Cynthia Erivo made a stunning red carpet appearance at the Screen Actors Guild Awards Celebration on Thursday in Los Angeles.

Erivo, who stars in Wicked, opted for a glamourous black outfit flaunting her unique style.

She donned a striking black long-sleeved gown that featured a sequin-covered triangular center.

The actress accessorised her look with signature nails and silver hoop earrings, completing it with a buzzed hairstyle.

It is worth mentioning that Erivo is receiving significant recognition for her role in Wicked. She earned a 2025 Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance By A Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.

Erivo stars alongside Ariana Grande in the musical playing Elphaba and Glinda respectively.

Speaking about her bond with Grande, Erivo recently told Deadline, “You can’t get that if you don’t have it off[screen]. I mean, well done if you can, but there’s something that feels very tangible when you create that off screen.”

“We are friends. We are in a deeply honest relationship outside of the work. She messages me every day and we are always in conversation … if there’s something that I want her ears on or I want her opinion on, I send it to her,” she added further.
