Kody Brown's ex-wife breaks silence on their relationship

Kody Brown’s ex-wife, Meri Brown, a television personality, recently shed light on her relationship with him.

Meri told People magazine regarding their current relationship status, saying, “When we're in each other's space, we are friendly and kind with each other."

The 53-year-old star went on to explain that she is on good terms with Kody, but she would not name it “friendship.”

"I don't think that it's inauthentic at all. It's just not at a place that we're calling each other and texting and being like, 'Hey, friend, how's it going? What are you doing today?'" the Sister Wives star articulated.

Meri added, "It's not that kind of a relationship, but when we are in each other's space, when we do need to interact. It's totally fine."

"I'm very comfortable with him. It's not awkward as far as that goes, but we're just not friends. Certainly not friends. You know what I mean? I'm happy with it," Kody’s former spouse added.

For the unversed, Meri was Kody’s wife before they got into a polygamous relationship with Janelle Brown, while Christine Brown and Robyn Brown joined later.

However, from 2021 till now, the 55-year-old alum of Sister Wives’ has lost his three wives, including Christine, Janella, and Meri.

Notably, Meri, who announced her split with Kody in January 2023, had already divorced him legally in 2014.

Unlike Christine and Janelle, Meri Brown ended her 30-year marriage with Kody Brown through the church.
