Mariah Carey, an acclaimed record producer, singer, and songwriter, recently shocked everyone by cancelling two more Christmas concerts.
The 55-year-old singer has been touring the country with her Christmas Time tour, and on Wednesday, December 11, she got sick and cancelled her Pittsburgh show at UBG Paints Arena.
Now, today, on December 13, the We Belong Together crooner said she also had to call off her Newark show tonight at the Prudential Center.
The Queen of Christmas did not stop here and proclaimed regarding the postponement of the December 15 show as well, which had to take place at UBS Arena in Elmont.
Taking to her X (previously Twitter) today, on December 13, Carey wrote, “Newark and Belmont — I wish I had better news, but unfortunately I’m still sick and have to cancel the shows tonight and on Sunday.”
“I’m really devastated about it and appreciate your support. Love, MC [a heart emoji],” she concluded by asking for support from her fanbase.
Previously on December 11, while announcing the cancellation news of her concert, Carey scribbled, "Pittsburgh, I am sorry to say, I’ve come down with the flu. It breaks my heart that I unfortunately have to cancel tonight’s show. I love you all so much."
Notably, the final show of Mariah Carey is scheduled for December 17 at New York City's Barclays Center, but it is still uncertain if the show will take place.
