Sydney Sweeney gives epic response to body shamers with intense workout video

Sydney Sweeney has given a powerful response to body shamers.

The actress is fighting back against cruel comments about her body with latest workout footage.

On Friday, Sweeney posted a video on Instagram showing negative comments about her body, including cruel remarks like, "Quite frumpy isn't she" and "Nothing to see here other than an average chunky Yankee girl."

It is worth mentioning that these comments were made after photos of Sweeney were published by the DailyMail.

However, the video showing cruel comments then shifts to Sweeney intensely training for her role as boxer Christy Martin in an upcoming biopic.

She can be seen flipping giant tires, lifting weights, and boxing as she prepares for the role.

Previously, Sweeney shared some behind-the-scenes from the film on Instagram, stating, "Well, the cat’s out of the bag thanks to some paps in bushes so here’s a little BTS from my film I’m working on right now."

"over the past few months, i’ve been immersed in training to bring to life the story of an incredible woman—a true champion who fought battles both inside and outside the ring," she continued.

Sweeney wrote, "her journey is a testament to resilience, strength, and hope, and I’m honored to step into her shoes to share her powerful story with you all. more to come soon • • CHRISTY MARTIN."

Sweeney has been training for months to portray Martin, who became one of the first successful female boxers in the 1990s.

The filming of the upcoming biopic was wrapped in November 2024, however, the title has still not been revealed.
