Just two days after announcing her engagement to Blanco, Gomez posted an adorable photo of herself on Instagram Story.

In the picture, Gomez looked happy as she shielded her face from the sun with her hand flaunting the ring.

On December 12, Gomez shared surprising news of her engagement to Blanco on Instagram.

Sharing a carousel of photos, Gomez simply captioned the post as "forever begins now.."

The couple, who began dating in December 2023, have already received plenty of support from their celebrity friends.

Taylor Swift, Gomez's bestie, joked about being the flower girl, while Cardi B and Lily Collins left excited comments.

However, Blanco sweetly added, “hey wait… that’s my wife” in the comments.

It is worth mentioning that Gomes was reportedly completely surprised by the proposal.

An insider told PEOPLE magazine that Gomez has been "glowing" since the engagement.

They added, "It was very her. It was a total surprise to Selena."
