Chris Rock is preparing to take on the Saturday Night Live hosting gig for the fourth time as he continues to rise.

Rock last hosted SNL in 2020 and kicked off the show’s 46th season amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The Madagascar actor was also a cast member on the show from 1990 to 1993.

According to a source that spoke to People, Rock is "doing great" now and may even make joked about the 2022 Oscars incident involving Will Smith.

"He talked about during his Netflix special [Selective Outrage] and a little bit in the press, but has since moved on," the mole said of the Oscars slap.

"He's looking forward to concentrating on his comedy and career, and he is writing a ton," the tipster shared.

This comes after the comedian recently stomped out of billionaire party where he had a stand up comedy gig. When Rock began his set, he was quickly offended by something he saw in the audience, according to New York Post’s gossip columnist Cindy Adams.

“Like he went momentarily ape and shouted something like he wasn't supposed to be taped, videoed, reported or whatever else wasn't supposed to happen,” she wrote of his reaction.

She added that he “didn't complain, didn't explain, didn't do one more minute” before he began “barreling quickly, forcefully, through people to the exit doors.”

Meanwhile, Chris Rock is busy is working on several projects he’s producing and writing, including upcoming films I Am Maurice and Misty Green.
