Selena Gomez made first public appearance since her engagement to beau to Benny Blanco, whom she’s been dating for a year.

As reported by MailOnline, the 32-year-singer was seen attending an event at Harmony Gold Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday.

For the event, the songstress-actress, who opted to not wear the ring, wore a black velvet skirt and a white blouse.

Gomez layered the dress with a long, black coat and chose a pair of closed-toed, black pumps.

The Love You Like a Love Song hitmaker accessorized the look with a pair of silver earrings and a silver ring on right hand.

For make-up, she sported a classic bold red tint to her lips.

Gomez’s public appearance comes days after she announced her engagement to Blanco.

She took to Instagram and revealed that her 36-year-old record producer boyfriend had popped the big question and caption the post as, "forever begins now".
