Roger Nores didn’t sense anything amiss with his pal Liam Payne the day he tragically passed away.
The Argentine businessman recalled his meeting with Liam hours before he fell to his death from the balcony of CasaSur hotel in Buenos Aires on 16 October.
In a new documentary, Roger noted that "He was in good spirits, he was talking to ten or 15 Americans that were here for a wedding."
"He was perfectly balanced, talking to everybody, having fun, laughing, so nothing out of the ordinary. So that's when I said, 'bye'."
"He seemed playful and happy. I went to the hotel three times to check on him. He seemed tipsy but nothing out of the ordinary," he emphasized.
This comes after three arrests were made in investigation about the former One Direction singer’s untimely death.
"Police detained two hotel workers accused of supplying the drugs," David Muir said and also revealed that they "raided the home of a friend."
It was also revealed in a recent toxicology report that the Teardrops hitmaker didn’t brace for impact when he fell, indicating that he wasn’t fully conscious when he fell.
"For the prosecution, this situation would also rule out the possibility of a conscious or voluntary act on the part of the victim since, in the state he was in, he did not know what he was doing and could not understand it,” the report stated of Liam Payne’s final moments.
