Sarah Ferguson has reflected on her close links with Princess Diana and Queen Camilla after her former husband Prince Andrew landed in new controversy.

In an interview with the Times, Sarah issued a plea to King Charles and Queen as she shared her willingness “to do more" for them.

Princess Eugenie and Beatrice mother said, “Queen Camilla was close friends with Mum, which is why we’re so close now."

Sarah further said, "But Diana was my best friend from the age of 14. That’s why it’s so big that the Queen and I get on now.

"It’s rather nice, and she reminds me of Mum. I admire the extraordinary support she’s giving this country. I want to do as much for the Queen as possible.”

She continued, “I wish they’d ask me to do more."

Meanwhile, Sarah has stressed that she will always "support" the father of her children.

Sarah said, "I won't let him down. He supports me as much as I support him."

The Duchess of York further said, "He's supported me through thick and thin, not just marriage or divorce."
