King Charles honours woman for saving sister from crocodile attack

King Charles honored individuals with The King’s Gallantry Medal and The King’s Commendation for Bravery in recognition of their extraordinary acts of bravery, said a statement issued on Monday.

The statement said amongst recipients was Georgia Laurie, who was awarded the medal for her heroic actions when saving her sister from a crocodile attack in Mexico in 2021!

The  post shared on the  official website of the royal family accompanied pictures from the event. "Congratulations to all the recipients for their remarkable bravery!," read the caption.

Meanwhile, the king continues to receive treatment for unspecified type of cancer.

The monarch, however, has not shown any sign of weakness during his illness as his work remained unaffected despite health challenges.
