Dolly Parton's Christmas tradition comes to light

Dolly Parton, an eleven-time Grammy Award winner, is set to embrace her festive spirit as she just revealed her dazzling holiday style.

While talking to guest host Jessie James Decker on TalkShopLive on Thursday, December 13, the 78-year-old legend shared that she likes to doll up for the Christmas season.

Declaring herself a "Holly Dolly Christmas girl,” Parton said, “I wear everything Christmas. I mean, when it comes to Christmas, everything I have. Socks, and shoes, and sweaters, and earrings, and my hair lights up.”

The actress of Christmas on the Square went on to highlight that she has an annual tradition called “cookie night,” where she invites her nieces and nephews over.

Shedding light on how she celebrates the festive season, Parton explained, “I keep them for a day and a half, from one afternoon all night until like the next day.”

“They drive around the farm on the golf carts and all that. But, the whole time if I dress like Santa Claus, I've got to have all my Santa stuff on,” the Highlight of My Life singer added.

“And then when we're gonna do cookies, I gotta have my earrings that light up, I've gotta have lights in my hair, and festive sweaters that light up, so yeah, I'm all about it,” she mentioned.

Porton went on to conclude by articulating, “I'm all about Christmas. I'm a Holly Dolly Christmas girl.”
