Blake Shelton just recalled a “humiliating” incident he had with Vince Gill.

In a video that was from his interview with CMT, the 48-year-old country music star talked about his wife, Gwen Stefani’s son, Zuma, to whom he is a step-dad, accidently FaceTimed the Pure Prairie League musician.

"He thought he was calling his nanny Vince, and he called Vince Gill," Shelton revealed, as he explained the mix-up.

"I was walking through the house and I heard Vince Gill's voice kind of laughing," the God’s Country singer stated, adding, "I looked and I saw Zuma throw the phone down."

Shelton continued, "He was like, 'I don't know. There was some man that answered Vince's phone.' And I looked, and he had called Vince Gill, who was in Amsterdam — He FaceTimed him while he was in Amsterdam with The Eagles!"

Reaching out to Gill in a follow-up call, the 67-year-old rock star shared his rather humorous reason behind why he even answered the call in the first place.

"Man, I was laughing," Gill said to the Some Beach hitmaker while on call, adding, "I thought you must have been drunk or something."

While Zuma was initially frightened by Gill, who was then, mysterious to him, he is now "the biggest Vince Gill fan in the world," and begs Shelton to call him again.

"But now, a couple of years later, Zuma is the biggest Vince Gill fan in the world. He's like, 'Can we FaceTime him again?!'" he shared.

However, Blake Shelton has given the final verdict of how that will "never happen again, actually,” adding, “That was humiliating for me!"
